  1.                         TRUE WILL RITUAL

  3. After doing a strong purification, casting a circle, calling the
  4. quarters, and doing a strong "tree meditation" (as in Starhawk's
  5. Spiral Dance):
  6.  
  7. o    Visualize the essence of each of the elemental energies
  8.      within and  say affirmations identifying with each of the
  9.      elements, and with what you affirm:
  10.      -    "I am Earth, I am centered and strong.  I am the vessel
  11.           through which my True Will manifests.  
  12.      -    I am Air, I am focused.  My mind is keen and tuned to
  13.           reveal my True Will. 
  14.      -    I am Fire, I have the power within to know my True Will
  15.           and to act upon it.  
  16.      -    I am Water, I am sensitive, intuitive, and magickal. 
  17.           The waters of my inner consciousness are calm, clear
  18.           and clean.  I am able to see into my depths and to know
  19.           my True Will.  
  20.      -    I am Spirit.  I am all that is.  I am Balance and
  21.           Unity.  I am that from which my True Will comes."

  23. o    Consecrate a candle with five elemental tools and do a free
  24.      form chant to dedicate the candle to aid in knowing your
  25.      true will. 
  26.  
  27. o    Light the candle and place it in front of you. 
  28.  
  29. o    Gazing at the candle, meditate on the following, one at a
  30.      time: Know thyself, areas where your are uncertain of your
  31.      true will, your commitment to act on your True Will when you
  32.      know it, and spiritual growth from knowledge of self.  
  33.  
  34. o    Then chant until you feel unity with the light from the
  35.      flame "Candle light, candle glow, inner sight, will to
  36.      know." 
  37.  
  38. o    You should then go into a trance and get direct messages
  39.      from deep within. 
  40.  
  41. o    When you have received what you need, tell yourself to
  42.      remember your insights and take a few deep breaths and
  43.      return to the circle.  
  44.  
  45. o    Then say something like "though I extinguish this candle
  46.      flame and end this rite, may I always be aware of the flame
  47.      of will that burns within me, and may I always act according
  48.      to my True Will, born of Spirit.  So mote it be" and blow
  49.      out the candle.  
  50.  
  51. o    Do cakes and wine, ground, and dismiss the quarters and
  52.      spirit.
